Vekrá Lore Part 1

An alien race called the Vekrá has been living throughout the galaxy as a small circular shape parasite. The Vekrá are a non threatening alien parasite. They have lived among the stars over several millenniums. They are thought to be the oldest alien race in existent. Though not much is known about them far from that they are dying in rapid numbers.

The Vekrá inhabit bio-organic host bodies (i.e. humans) in order to survive. Inhabiting the host body the parasite increases the host body with knowledge, healing capabilities such as cures for diseases, and other advantages that humans do not possess.  Why do they need us?

The Vekrá are a peaceful race only wanting to preserve their knowledge that they have gathered throughout the galaxy. Along the way of their advancements of becoming a higher lifeforms, the Vekrá have forgotten how to reproduce down in there genealogical code. Slowly they have been dying off as their host bodies were dying of old age. The Vekrá still do not understand how they lost this knowledge, but they have put aside searching for it and have been looking for suitable host replacements. After searching for close to 900 years the Vekrá have found this planet capable of sustaining the Vekrá.
